Open Studio is flexible making time for families. Come as you are, make what you'd like, and leave with something one of a kind. Materials and inspiration are set out and waiting to be utilized, but we encourage creative thinking and new ideas! There's no agenda, no right or wrong way to make, and absolutely no pressure. Children who are able to work independently are welcome to do so with continued caregiver support nearby.

Open Studio is available as a full session or half session, running select afternoons from 1:30–4:30pm. Full session makers are welcome to stay for the full three hour window. Half session makers will join us for either the first or second half of the session.

We recommend registering in advance to guarantee your preferred session and ensure we have availability. Walk-ins are always welcome but cannot be guaranteed.

Open Studio is priced per maker, reflecting the cost of materials used. Every maker has full access to our curated supplies and project prompts for their session. If you plan to create your own piece alongside your child, we ask that you register as a maker as well. If you are there to guide and support your child's making, you are all set. There is no charge for accompanying caregivers.

Open Studio is a family experience. Grown-ups are expected to stay present and engaged alongside their child for the duration of the session. Our team oversees the studio at large but is not providing childcare. Every child is different and we'll always take our cues from your crew. We simply ask that caregivers remain available to support their child as needed so every maker gets the most out of their time in the studio.
