Happy Makers was originally founded in 2024 by an illustrator and mom who wanted to share the joy of creating with kiddos. Fast forward to the Summer of 2026, Quinlyn and Ren jumped (literally) at the opportunity to continue Happy Makers and begin it’s new chapter - just a few doors down from its original location in Portland, Oregon.
Happy Makers is a studio where creativity is celebrated, curiosity is encouraged, and little hands (and grown-up ones, too!) are invited to make something wonderful - whatever that looks like to you. Let’s discover it together.

Creative Director
Quinlyn is a lifelong teacher, who has always gravitated toward working with children. Drawn to the wonder, curiosity, and joy of kiddos, she has a remarkable way of making every kiddo feel seen and celebrated. Quinlyn is a creator through and through, and the maker behind this duo. When she’s not at the studio, you can usually find her making magic, trying to find her phone, or with a gaggle of kiddos happily trailing behind her.

Director of operations
Ren is the definition of a kid at heart. A college athlete, art school dropout, and firm believer that creativity belongs to everyone. He's an avid reader, enthusiastic coffee drinker, and the happy behind this duo. When he's not at the studio, you can usually find him dreaming about riding a dragon, finding Quinlyn’s phone, or with a gaggle of dogs waggin’ around him.
